Johnstone's Q/D Opaque Wood Finish erodes naturally by weathering, thus ensuring the coating remains flexible and resists cracking, peeling and flaking. Johnstone's Quick Drying Opaque can be applied to new and previously painted or stained surfaces, and is ideal for use where a complete change of colour is required or where the existing surface has become weathered and uneven in appearance. On very resinous timber, to minimise extractive discolouration of the coating, Johnstone's Ultra Primer should be used.

Johnstone's Woodworks Q/D Opaque Wood Finish provides a UV resistant, opaque satin finish that's microporous to help reduce the chances of blistering and peeling.
